Statement of Faith

We believe in:

  1. The Holy Bible as the word of God written under inspiration of Holy Spirit. Which is the infallible sufficient authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
  2. One God eternally existent in three person: The trinity -FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT
  3. The Deity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, His Virgin Birth, His sinless life, His Vicarious death and atonement through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial intercession and His personal return in power and glory. He is the only Saviour of mankind.
  4. The Salvation of lost and sinful men through regeneration by the Holy Spirit , Salvation is by grace through faith.
  5. The indwelling of to believers by the Holy Spirit, enabling the Christians to live a godly life.
  6. The spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ who comprise the church, a living spiritual body of which Christ is the Head.
  7. Christian Baptism by the immersion of a believer into water in the name of Father, Son and Holy Spirit of profession of Faith and the Lord's Supper instituted by Christ for commemoration of His death. These two ordinances should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  8. The personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to the earth and establishment of His Kingdom.
  9. The resurrection of the body, the final judgment. The eternal felicity of those who are saved . And the endless suffering of those who are lost.

About us

Location:

North Bank Baptist Christian Association is situated at Shakomato Baptist Christian Center, Viswanath Charali, Sonitpur Assam. Most of the churches of NBBCA a are situated in the northern part of river Brahmaputra. Hence the name of the Association is North Bank Baptist Christian Association.

    • Our Leaders

    On the beginning day i.e. March 09, 2018 a business session was held at No.1 Nalbari Baptist Church under the chairmanship of Rev. Dayud Aind. Many important matters were discussed there. The annual budget of the NBBCA for the year 2018-2019 and audited statements were approved unanimously. The Convener of the nomination Committee Dr. S.B.Pando submitted the report of the Nomination Committee of the New Office Bearers for two years terms i.e., 2018-2020 are as following –
